| The US Private Pilot license authorizes a pilot to fly most single
engine aircraft. A separate, short additional course is necessary to earn flight
privileges in Multi engine aircraft. Private pilots may carry passengers, and use the
aircraft for business transportation, as long as neither the aircraft or pilot are
operating for hire. The minimum FAA requirements for attaining a Private Pilot license

Be able to understand the English language. |

Pass a written test on aviation knowledge subjects. |

Have at least 40 hours flight experience (including 10 hrs solo and
20 hours with instructor) |

Hold a third class FAA medical certificate |

Pass an oral and flight test. |
