OUR STAFF

Ron Dole, President and principal Owner

Phil Auldridge, Director of Operations
First earned his private license in 1971. ATP, Airplane Single and Multiengine, Glider, A&P Mechanic, and IA. Designated FAA Flight Examiner for Private, Commercial, ATP, Multiengine, Instrument, and Flight Instructor. Hobbies include Music (piano), bicycling, kayaking, and, of course, flying.

Wendy Hart, General Manager
Wendy runs the complete show! She manages operations at both the Hilo and Kona facilities, oversees the financial and marketing functions, and is on hand to insure that all our customers receive to utmost care.

Hideki Ebisawa, Chief Flight Instructor, and Part 135 Charter Pilot. "Ebi" began his career with the Japanese military, then attended our school as a student. We were so impressed with his professional approach to flying that we encouraged him to return as a staff member. He and his wife have been residents of the Kona area for over 5 years, and he is a welcome member of our staff.

Anthony Fink, Air Carrier Chief Pilot
Anthony is a long-time staff member who has risen through our ranks to hold the senior Chief Pilot position. He is also our FAA Designated Check Airman, and Assistant Chief Flight Instructor for our Part 141 School

Judy Mulvihill is our Kona "Boss". She runs things around the office, and does an incredible job of keeping all our pilots, students, mechanics, fuelers, and staff happy and healthy. In addition to keeping an excellent handle on all the myriad administrative duties, Judy serves as personal "concierge" for all our clients, and can be counted on to arrange anything from a night-time manta-ray scuba diving expedition to a Harley-Davidson rental.

Dale Scharpenburg, Private, Instrument and Commercial Instructor, Manager of our Hilo flight staff. Dale taught flying for years as a "weekend" instructor, and 5 years ago chose to forsake a career in the manufacturing industry to pursue his love of flying full time. His enthusiasm is infectious, and the care he gives each student is reflected in their flight performance!

Ruth Lindsay, Bookkeeper/Receptionist
Ruth faultlessly takes care of all our bookkeeping and accounting needs, as well as serving as office manager during the weekend.
