We have immediate openings for exceptional pilotsWe are an FAA Certified Air Carrier, located at Kona and Hilo airports on the Big Island. Above It All Inc. (dba Island Hoppers our air tour operation, and Hawaii Flight Academy, our flight school) has openings for a select number of extraordinary instructor-pilots. We are looking for motivated, conscientious individuals who share our commitment to excellence, and our desire for customer satisfaction.
Applicants chosen for our team will participate in a 32 hour orientation/training session prior to being assigned pilot duties (training duty pay of $10/hour begins immediately). Successful candidates will join our staff as full-time pilot/instructors, with medical, paid vacation, disability, and workmen's compensation coverage.

We attract a highly motivated international clientele, who expect excellence and specific results. Training courses are tightly organized and intensive, offering the instructor a one-on-one opportunity to achieve immediate success with his students.
In addition, our new college flight degree program has created additional demand for quality instructors to participate in both classroom and aircraft training.Our Air Tour operation is the largest fixed-wing operation in the state, carrying more than 25,000 passengers annually. Our pilots fly:

If you possess above-average people skills, are willing to commit to a minimum one-year employment contract, meet minimum FAR 135 VFR experience requirements and can provide documented success with your previous employer, you may qualify for a position with Above It All, Inc. (Special weight given to CFI/CFIIs).
We offer one of the best hiring and compensation packages in the industry, including:
Relocation allowance of $500 (payable upon successful completion of Part 135 checkride)
Guaranteed duty time pay of $75-100 on duty days, regardless of actual flight time
Hourly flight pay of $17-25/hour depending on experience (same rate for billable ground instruction)
Free multiengine time in our well-equipped Piper Twin Comanche earned at the rate of one hour for every 35 revenue flight hours completed. This amounts to an additional $6.50 hourly compensation rate, generally non-taxable due to the training nature of the flight. (multi-instructor must be paid for at regular rate). Experienced pilots can qualify for multiengine instructor positions.
Medical insurance, temporary disability and workman's compensation insurance, and paid vacation.
