ADDITIONAL FEES AND COSTS:

Our training courses are designed to include all major costs of completing your training. This includes your hotel during training, training materials, instructor time, simulator time and airplane time.
We must, of course, place limits on the total amount of airplane time used during training, since this represents a substantial portion of the overall costs. We provide the following MAXIMUM amount of airplane time for our courses:
  Private Pilot - up to 50 hours; Instrument Rating - up to 25 hours; Unlimited simulator time
Each course provides the following maximum number of full-time days with your instructor:
Private Pilot - 15 days; Instrument Rating - 10 days;

Our pricing is based on our experience that the average actual flight time required for each course will be less than the maximum allowed, and, because of  this, we cannot offer credit or refund for any unused hours after the rating is earned.

In the rare case that additional flight hours are required, the following rates apply:
Cessna 172 : $159/hour 
Instructor: $65/hour  - - -  Simulator: $35/hour
Other costs which are NOT included with each course, and should be anticipated:
* Car Rental or other ground transportation
* Meals and entertainment during your stay
* Additional nights stay in hotel BEYOND that provided during the course: Private - 21 nights Instrument - 14 nights
* Cost of the FAA Medical examination (generally about $100)
* Cost of the FAA Written test fee ($75-85)
* FAA Examiner Fee for Flight Test ($300) (credit cards generally not accepted for Flight Test Fee)
* Additional shipping fees for training materials outside the US: $50
WRITTEN TEST COMPLETION:

All our course fees are set on the assumption that our clients will arrive with written test already completed. Although we do have testing facilities at our site, and can administer the written test upon arrival, we STRONGLY URGE you to complete the test before arrival.
If you choose to take the test upon arrival, then you need to plan on arriving prior to the beginning training date. You will need to allocate a full day for taking the test. We are happy to arrange for private assistance with test preparation, at additional cost, before beginning your training.
We generally WILL NOT begin your flight training until the written test is completed. We want you to be able to give your full attention to learning to fly, without the distraction of studying for the written test!
PAYMENT POLICY:  A $2000 deposit is required to confirm a training date. 30 days prior to your training date, we will need additional deposit to total 50% of the full course fee.  The remaining balance will be payable in full on the day your training begins.
Payment may be by credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, or AMERICAN EXPRESS), International Travelers Check, wire transfer or Cash.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept other forms of checks drawn on banks outside the United States.
REFUND POLICY:  In the event you need to cancel your scheduled training, we are happy to refund your deposit (less the cost of any training materials or other services provided), ONLY if we receive notice AT LEAST 30 DAYS PRIOR to your scheduled course date.  Cancellations within the 30 day period will result in forfeiture of the $2,000 deposit.  The remainder of any deposit in excess of the initial $2,000 WILL NOT be refundable, but WILL be creditable toward a future course date.
We will be assigning a full time instructor for your training, and making non-refundable commitments for accommodations, therefore, no refund can be made for cancellations less than 30 days in advance.

If you have to terminate your training prior to completion, for any reason, we will charge you at our normal hourly rates for training received (and accommodations used), and cheerfully refund any remaining balance.
DISCLAIMER:  Our primary purpose is to see that you achieve your goals during your training with us, and we will use every available means to accomplish that to your satisfaction.
However, we cannot be responsible for inability to complete your training as a result of equipment failure, illness (instructor or client), weather, or other acts of God beyond our control.
Our Liability is Expressly limited to a refund of any unused training balance.
