AIRCRAFT RENTAL

Hawaii Flight Academy offers the largest rental fleet of any aviation organization in the state. We are the only organization on the Big Island which provides rentals on both sides of the island. Check out in an aircraft at Kona Airport, then fly a similar aircraft at our Hilo Airport facility without need for an additional checkout! Our rates are competitive with all other aviation organizations in the state. We offer Cessna 172 aircraft for solo or dual rental. All our aircraft are fully IFR equipped and certified, and all have built-in intercom systems. Headsets and life jackets are provided for all rental flights at no additional charge. For a real thrill, fly our 1998 Cessna 172R.  Fully IFR equipped, with GPS, this aircraft is every pilot's dream come true!  Available for dual or solo rental. RATES: PLEASE NOTE:  We regret that we have been forced to recently increase our prices to cover our rapidly escalating fuel costs (fuel price has doubled in the past year!).  Thanks for your understanding. Cessna 172   - $169/hr Instructor - $65/hr We must charge a minimum 6-hour rental charge for any rental flights which stop for more than an hour at an airport other than the departure airport. Off-island visitors who rent for at least three hours get our professionally produced Big Island video FREE.
